Carbon Fiber Strength
It is possible to print continuous carbon fiber-reinforced parts that are as strong as and can replace machined aluminum in a matter of hours with X7. Continuous carbon fiber parts withstand the toughest applications. Stronger and 40% lighter than 6061 aluminum, these parts are suitable for end use.

Industrial Reliability and Accuracy
Precision-machined hardware, advanced sensors and unique software ensure leading accuracy and reliability. Markforged industrial carbon fiber 3D printers offer micron-level laser scanning for closed-loop calibration, reliably turning out parts with high repeatability and near-perfect surface quality. With a built-in laser micrometer, the X7 automatically scans the print bed to 1 micron precision to create a contour map of the surface. It calibrates its measurements with extrusion readings to perfectly adjust the nozzle height and active topography setting.
